Norfolk Lions Youth Soccer: Volunteer Info
![]() |
We Need You!
In order to run a sports program of this size so successfully, we must rely on the continued support and help of the parents. *It is MANDATORY that ALL families volunteer to help in one of many areas.
A $50 “buy-out” option is available for those who cannot make the commitment to volunteer.
* Families who do not fulfill their volunteer obligation (and did NOT choose the buy-out) will be assessed a $50 fee which must be paid in full before any child from that family can be registered for any future participation in NLYS

*Some Board positions may be a job for more than one person –Perhaps 2 (or more) friends or neighbors, or a “mom & dad” team would like to take on these positions Volunteering with NLYS is a great excuse to get out of the house and meet some new people. It’s also a great opportunity to get involved with your children and get to know some of their friends!
