Welcome to the Norfolk Golden Girls 18U Web Site. We are a girl's fastpitch softball team from Norfolk, Nebraska. We play tournaments in Nebraska and surrounding states with the ambition and goal to make it well into post-season play. We are proud to announce that the 2011 season will be the 37th year for our organization which consists of 5 age groups from 10U to 18U. It is a testament to the vision of our early founders, strong board leadership over the years and countless hours from the many coaches and volunteers it takes to make it all successful. We hope you enjoy your visit.

PLEASE NOTE
Please remember that the Board of Directors implemented the rule that no players would be allowed to play up an age bracket unless there is a compelling reason to do so such as; the parent coaching the older team, because of need, not enough players or needing to fill a critical open position.
Any player wishing to move up prematurely must make a petition to the Board in writing or in person expressing the reasons for such. The Board will then decide each request on a case by case basis. Any players playing up last year are grandfathered in.
There can be no exceptions to this rule, so to be fair to all players and teams.
