Tuesday, July 1818U's Runner-Ups in CT Rapids Summer Swing Tournament
The Nor'Easter 18U's placed second in the CT Rapids Summer Swing, falling to the Long Island Chargers 8-0 in Watertown, CT. The Nor'Easters were undefeated in pool play on Saturday and were seeded first for single elimination play which began early Sunday morning.

16U, 14U Eric Whitten Memorial Softball Tournament Results
The Nor'Easter 16U's fell in the quarterfinals of the Eric Whitten Memorial Softball Tournament in a heartbrakeing 5-2 loss to the Maine Attraction. The 16U's went 2-1 in pool play on Saturday and were seeded second for Sunday's single-elimination play.

Nor'Easter 16U's looking for players
The Nor’Easter 16U's still have a few openings for their team. Contact Head Coach Dave Kelley at 603-934-4026 if you are interested in trying out for the team.
The Nor’Easter Softball Teams are Lakes Region based and are affiliated with ASA, NSA and PONY. The teams will participate in six to seven tournaments in N.H., Maine, Massachusetts, and Canada during June and July 2006. The Nor'Easter Tournament Schedule is posted below.
ASA determines a player’s age based on their age on January 1, 2006. Players who were 16 on January 1, 2006 are eligible for 16U’s.
A parent or guardian is required to accompany their daughter at the tryout in order to sign a waiver of insurance form. Parents must also bring a copy of their daughter’s birth certificate. The tryout fee is $10 and is non-refundable.
The player fee for new players for the 2006 season remains at $325. Scholarships are available upon request.

Nor'Easter Softball Announces 16U Tryout
The Nor’Easter Softball Club will be conducting a 16U Tryout for the 2006 season on Sunday, November 20 from 1-3 pm at Gilford High School.
Players interested in trying out for the 16U team should contact 16U Head Coach Dave Kelly at 934-4026 for more information.

18U's Place Second at Comet's "Turn Two" Tournament

The 18U's took second place in a tournament for the second time in two weeks, falling to the tournament host NH Comets in the "Turn Two" Tournament held in Bow. After going 1-0-2 in pool play the Nor'Easters won three straight on Sunday before losing to the Comets 6-1 in the finals.
