The Norcross Blue Devils finished the 2007-08 season with some exciting Hockey. The playoffs were wild as Walton managed to tie the game with only 12 seconds left.  Then in overtime took the victory to advance.  That wasn't the only 1 Goal winner this season, but the Blue Devils were always ready for a FACE OFF.... just check the photos...

The March 2007 GHRA Playoffs:

Our Norcross Blue Devils got hot in the State Playoffs and for a 10th seeded team, they shocked everyone, by reeling off 3 straight wins! In the Semi-final game vs Loganville they set the record for widest margin of VICTORY for a 7 to 3 win. We just came up short in the Championship game to Walton Gold, who were the 1st seed in the playoffs by virtue of not loosing a game this season. So..That's why the guys don't look as happy as they would have in our Awards Photo. BUT for the first time ever..Norcross High School brought home some Impressive HARDWARE !! The Trophy for 2nd Place in the STATE !! Thanks Guys and Coach Jeff Childers for an exciting and incredible end to the Season.

Besides a very strong Team Effort: A number of our Blue Devils made it into the DIVISION Record books for the Playoffs... including:

Tyler Herrin for "Longest Point Streak" - 4 (that's Every Game / Unmatched by any other player)

Brad Collins for "Most Points in a Game" - 4 (Brad also tied for 2nd "Most Goals in a Game" - 3)

Josh Crowe our Goalie for "Most Saves in a Game" - 41 vs Shiloh (Also "Longest Winning Streak" at 3)

also notable .. Andrew Starcher tied for 2nd in "Longest Point Streak" and in that

same category James Sarrio and Thomas Jordan tied for 3rd.
