NORTHERN ONTARIO CURLING TOUR OFFICIAL WEBSITE
This site was designed to provide the curler and curling fan all of the up-to-date information, dates and results pertaining to the Northern Ontario Curling Tour (NOCT). This tour started in October 2004 and has made it through a very exciting and successful five seasons. Season # 6 will start in October 2009. Stay tuned for more exciting news and updates.

Super Spiel East URGENT MESSAGE!
FYI.....If your team registered for this event but hasn't paid (and you know who you are), you are risking disqualification! The entry deadline was Friday November 21st @ midnight.......since then, we have received only 15 paid teams and are feverishly working on a 24-25-26 and 28 team draw to accommodate and this is unacceptable. We have tried to get the spiel up to 28 teams but have recently dropped to only 25 teams via word of mouth or email and we can not approve a draw without team confirmation via payment. Presently I am proposing an 18 team triple just like the Grand Slams therefore the next (3) paid teams are in! If those unpaid teams come through, perhaps we will have a 24 team triple....whatever the scenerio....SAD and NOT Impressed! We will have the results online here by Saturday, I HOPE! People put a lot of volunteer effort into events such as this and it is really sad to see the lack lusture effort from certain teams to follow deadlines...this puts unnecessary pressure on organizers of the NOCT and the host clubs. Enough is Enough, start taking some responsibility and do the right thing. 2009 NOCT Events Schedule
The schedule for the 2009/10 season on the Northern Ontario Curling Tour is listed below. (also available on the OCT site) NOCT # 2 - Oct 30- Nov 1/09 - North Bay Granite CC - Registration Closed " Courtesy Freight Curling Classic" NOCT/NOCA Superspiel WEST - Nov 13-16/09 - Port Arthur CC - Registration Closed Register @ http://www.majorleaguecurling.com/?q=Stats " KIA Curling Classic" NOCT/NOCA Superspiel EAST - Dec 4-7/09- Soo Curlers CC - Registration Still OpenNOCT # 3 - TBA
NOCT # 1 Complete, see winners above. NOCT # 2 in North Bay will be a Round Robin with pools format also. A ladies section will open only if there are at least 5 ladies teams registered. Entry fee for this event is $500/team. NOCT/NOCA Superspiels East & West will be a triple K/O format with the eventual winning team from each spiel advancing directly to the 2010 Northern Ontario Men's Championships in Sudbury. Any team can enter. It is very important that all participating teams register one month prior to each event by emailing team info to this site or by calling Tim @ (705) 677-7625. For Superspiel West, register @ http://www.majorleaguecurling.com/?q=Stats Deadline for payment is (2) full weeks prior to that event. Send all cheques to the address in the menu on the left of this web page or if using a credit card, call the phone number above. A 4% fee will be added to credit card entries. Every team must pay a one- time only NOCT Team Fee of $10.00 which will go towards administration, bank and website costs. Please include this payment on your first team entry. NOCT Events Qualify for CCA's CTRS
The Northern Ontario Curling Tour events (men only) will qualify for CTRS (Canadian Team Ranking System). Teams must register before the deadline on the CCA website in order to collect valuable points towards positioning for future Canada Cup's and Grand Slam's. How to Enter the Tour
If your team is interested in competing in the NOCT or your club would like to host a NOCT event in the future, contact Tim Phillips. Email all of your team information and which spiels you would like to compete in to: timphillips007@msn.com. Deadline for payment is 2 weeks prior to each event (See events schedule above).
