Newport News Recreation Indoor Soccer
Plans have begun for the 4th year of the NNPR co-sponsored Indoor Futsal League. Last year was a huge success with about 73 teams in 7 different age groups. We anticipate close to 80 teams this year. Game lengths 2-20 minute halfs for the Mite, Junior, and Junior Girls and 2-25 minute halfs for the Intermediate, Intermediate Girls, Senior, and Senior Girls. Games will be played at multiple locations again this year with Dozier Middle School, Crittenden Middle School, Reservoir Middle School and Julie Conn. Coaches may pre-register their existing teams using the Fall 2009 Rosters (like last year) starting October 1st. 8-10 kids is a great number to ensure ample playing time for all. Cost will be around $100 per team. Games will start week of January 1st and go thru 1st week of March.
