WEDNESDAY, MAY 30: ALL GAMES AND PRACTICES SCHEDULED FOR TONIGHT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. ALL FIELDS ARE CLOSED FOR THE EVENING.

Based on discussions with staff and feedback from coaches, parents, and participants it has been decided to begin the yearly re-forming of teams in the youth soccer program starting in the Summer of 2012. Age eligible returning players will be allowed to return to their existing teams this Spring.  Starting with the Fall 2012 Recreation Youth Soccer season (registration period August 1-7, 2012), all participants will register as new players and new rosters will be formed in all age groups.  Players in the Bantam (5-6 year olds), Mite (7-8 year olds), and Junior (9-10 year olds) leagues will all be placed on teams by the Athletic Staff. Players in the Intermediate (11-13 year olds) and High School (14-17 year olds) leagues will attend a draft and be chosen by volunteer coaches. Teams will then remain together, based on age eligibility, for one year (Fall, Winter, Spring seasons) and new teams will be formed every August.

Game schedules for all age groups will be posted on the website.  Scores will be updated for Junior, Intermediate and High School Leagues as games are completed. COACHES please email tlockard@nngov.com with scores of your team's games (win, lose, or tie).  

**  There are NO PETS allowed on game or practice fields at any time.  Please tell your parents to leave the family pet at home during your practices and games.  Everyone makes the same statement about how well mannered and obedient their pet is compared to others but the bottom line is you can never predict when an animal will run on the field, use the bathroom, or feel threatened by a person or other animal enough to bite or act unruly.
