Blades Multiplex Arena- Rio Rancho, NM
From the North:
I-25 South (from Santa Fe), exit at Bernalillo (NM 44). Turn right on NM 44 and travel approximately 2 miles (over the river) to NM 528 . Turn left on NM 528 and proceed on NM 528 approximately 7 miles to Northern Blvd. Turn right on Northern Blvd. Go approximately 1.5 miles on Northern to Loma Colorado (traffic light). Turn left on Loma Colorado and Blades Iceoplex will be on the right hand side of the road appoximately 1/4 mile ahead.
From the Northwest (NM 44 from Farmington):
When coming in from the NW on NM 44, turn right on NM 528 (before the river) toward Rio Rancho and proceed as specified above.
From the East or West (I-40):
Take I-40 to I-25 Northbound. Proceed on I-25 Northbound to the Alameda Exit. Once exiting, go left (west) on Alameda. Proceed on Alameda for approximately 7.5 miles to Northern Blvd. (Alameda will eventually become NM528 near the Intel plant). Turn left on Northern Blvd. Proceed on Northern to Loma Colorado, turn left on Loma Colorado. Blades Iceoplex will be on the right approx. 1/4 mile ahead.

Exit at Exit 278 Cerrillos Road. Once exiting proceed toward Santa Fe (left from I-25 South, Right from I-25 North). Proceed approximately 2 miles and make a right on Rodeo Road (immediately after the mall). Proceed on Rodeo Road approximately 2 miles and follow the signes to Genoveva Chavez Comm Ctr.
From Blades/Iceoplex:
Turn left out of the Blades parking lot onto Loma Colorado. Turn right on Northern Blvd. Proceed to NM 528, turn left on NM528. Travel on NM 528 approx. 7 miles to NM 44. Turn right on NM 44 and go approx. 2 miles to I-25. Go North on I-25 and proceed as directed above.

Stay on 502 West until you see Diamond Drive
Turn Left onto Diamond Drive
Make the very next right hand turn onto West Road (if you go over the bridge you've gone too far. The turn is the last one before the bridge and the road is opposite the hospital's emergency room)
Stay left going down West Road
The rink is in the canyon at the bottom of the road. Parking is in front. Concessions, locker rooms, and restrooms are inside. Rink is an outdoor rink. Spectator seating is in the bleachers. DRESS WARM..... IT'S COLD!!

As you enter Taos, the first traffic light is Paseo Del Cannon/585 East (you'll see the Visitor's Center on your immediate right and a Chevron gas station as well as the sign at the corner points it out as the road to Angel Fire).
Turn Right onto Paseo Del Cannon.
Go past the State Police Building (on your left) and just past that you'll see a big building with a yellow roof coming off the side over the rink, also on your left. Parking is in front, locker rooms are rinkside as are the restrooms.

GETTING TO THE FAIRGROUNDS:
From Blades/Iceoplex:
Turn left out of the Blades parking lot onto Loma Colorado. Proceed approximately 1/4 mile to Northern Blvd. Turn right on Northern and proceed approx. 1.5 miles to NM 528. Turn right on NM528. Just after the Intel plant, stay to the right and proceed to Alameda. Stay on Alameda until you reach I-25 (approx. 5 miles after the Intel Plant). Take I-25 Southbound to the Lomas Offramp (1st exit past I-40). Turn left on Lomas Blvd and proceed to San Pedro Blvd (approx. 4 miles). Turn right on San Pedro. Gate 4 will be approx. 1/2 mile on the left.
From Santa Fe:
I-25 south to the Lomas Blvd. exit, then proceed as desribed above.
DIRECTIONS ONCE YOU GET TO THE FAIRGROUNDS:
Enter the Fairgrounds at Gate 4 (from San Pedro). Inform the attendent you are there for a hockey game. They will direct you from there. Parking is $2.00 for General and $4.00 for Preferred Parking.
