Go North Miami Beach!   Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.

Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever.

NMB Senior High School

Jason Tapia is a 9th grader that won his 1st Varsity game for '08. He was ready to play since he started High School. He told me in the Summer when are we going to play baseball. He was a pitcher. A determined, skilled pitcher will make NMB Chargers Varsity team by the 4th JV game. If he completes his Varsity game with a win like he did; he's now a full-time Varsity pitcher. All interested pitchers should contact the NMB's JV HeadCoach Sanford at 978-495-0012. Be a part of Charger's Pride!

Thank you to all the NMBLL coaches. Every NMB LL All-Star that came to us for try-outs made the team. If you want to get notice here at try-outs make sure you were your NMB hat & NMB All-Star shirt it will get you notice. So far Franklin J. in 2007-08 is the top freshman & Juan is 2nd. But High School is longer from the mound, around the bases & 300-400 ft in the outfield. But the pitching & hitting are like you see in the Regionals & World Series. But the same idea as here: get on base & more the runners over. Our JV Program is just like playing on NMBLL Junior team but as described as above. Then, in 10th grade we get you ready for our Varsity team. See your former teamates progress come March. North Miami Beach Senior High has the best baseball program for your kid. Thanks, your coaches from the Boston RedSox, Coach Sanford & UM Coach John.

Do you want to play exciting summer ball games? John will make sure your summer is an exciting one. Especially, if he's a "pitcher". When you call Coach Burgos at (305) 788-1374 tell him John said, "I could play for you this Summer". I'm here to make any kid dream come true to play in exciting baseball games this Summer. "Believe me, you won't forget this summer".

New Umpire from PONY

I would like to thank the players, coaches, league officials, and parents for their extraordinary courtesy and support they have shown me in my first experience as an umpire here at the NMB little league. These days its hard to find such a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Stephanie Kienzle(President) who had welcomed me into the NMB family. I would like to thank James Allen(Chief Umpire) for acknowledging my work and allowing me to return. I would also like to give a special thanks to Roxana Camara who referred me to Mr. Allen and Mrs. Kienzle. I look forward to umpiring more games this season and meeting all the players, coaches, and parents. Have a great season!
