Majors 1. The game should be played according to the Little League Rule Book with League umpires. Every player must play minimum+ innings unless he/she arrives after the fourth inning. 2. Local ground rules are in effect for Field 1. (See above). 3. There will be 12-person rosters. If the roster falls to 10, you must take a player from the International pool. You may elect to continue with an eleven-person roster. 4. There will be a continuous batting order. International 1. Games are six innings long, with extra innings allowed if the game is tied and time permits. The Board Member on Duty, along with the umpire, will have the authority to shorten a game if necessary. 2. There will be a continuous batting order. 3. There is a four-run limit for innings 1-5. There will be unlimited runs allowed in the final inning and extra innings. 4. Each player must play a minimum of three innings. There is free substitution for all positions except pitcher. 5. Pitching rules are the standard rule as found in the Little League Rule Book, except there is a 4 Inning maximum per game. 6. If a game is shortened (by time, rain or darkness), any player that did not get their minimum playing time starts the next game. 7. The infield fly rule is in effect. 8. Stealing will be permitted as follows; a. Before Mother's Day a player can steal 2nd or 3rd only if the ball is outside the dirt circle. b. After Mother's Day a player can steal 2nd, 3rd & Home at anytime. Senior Farm 1. Regularly scheduled games will consist of six innings, time permitting. Extra innings will be allowed, time permitting. If time or daylight does not permit the playing of the full six innings, the umpire and the Board Member on Duty may shorten the game. 2. There is a four run limit for all innings except the last. The last inning played will allow a limit of ten runs. 3. The players will pitch all the innings of the game. 4. A player may pitch up to three innings in one game and 4 innings in any one week. The pitching week is Sunday to Saturday. Pitchers may not pitch 2 days in a row. 5. There will be no walks. On ball four, manager of the batting team will come in to pitch from the rubber. The count will remain the same, so the batter will either hit or strike out. The batter will be allowed 1 warning before a strike is called, provided they do not swing. 6. There is no bunting. 7. Only one base is allowed on overthrows in foul territory, unless a play is made on the runner. 8. On overthrows in fair territory, the runner is allowed all the bases they can make. 9. Returning the ball to the pitcher's mound will bring a halt to the play. (There is an imaginary cylinder from where the circle of the pitcher's mound dirt is. If at any point the ball crosses the cylinder on a throw to the mound the ball is dead). This is the judgment of the umpire. 10. The umpire's shall decide to which base runners should be sent upon calling the ball dead. There will be a chalk line halfway between 1st& 2nd, 2nd & 3rd & 3rd & Home if a runner has advanced past that line when the ball is called dead they will be awarded the next base, if not they will be sent back to the preceding base, 11. If a batter swings at a pitch, but is hit by the ball, the pitch will be a strike. 12. If a team does not have nine players, they must accept any players the opposing team offers them or order to field a nine-person team. 13. There will be continuous batting order of all players at the game. 14. Ten players may play the field, with the use of four outfielders. 15. The outfielders may not play over second base and should not play in front of a line drawn through the outfield. 16. Please try to allow all players to try every position, and be rotated throughout the batting order. 17. Every player must play at minimum number of innings in the field. Players who did not get their minimum innings in a shortened game will start the next game. a. If a team 12 or less players the minimum number of innings is 4. b. If a team has thirteen players or more the minimum number of innings is 3. 18. There is free substitution. 19. An adult should back up the catcher to speed up the game. Junior Farm 1. The length of the game is at the discretion of the two managers. An attempt should be made to play a minimum of four innings or the entire two-hour time slot, but allow for time between games on the weekends. 2. There is a maximum of five runs per inning or three outs. 3. No score will be kept. There is no winning or losing. Please emphasize that to the parents as well as the players. 4. The manager will pitch to the players. A maximum of 10 pitches per player should be used as an at bat, if the player does not hit the ball there will be a tee for them to use. 5. There will be a continuous batting order. Up to ten players may play in the field, with the extra player a fourth outfielder. Please change the players' positions both in the field and in the batting order. 6. There are no balls, strikes, walks, strikeouts or hit by pitch. 7. On most batted balls, base runners will be allowed to advance a minimum of 1 base at a time. On solid balls hit to the outfield, two bases will be permitted after Mother's Day. The idea is to keep the games moving, not to hit doubles. 8. Try to have a coach be the backup catcher to save time. T-Ball 1. The length of a game is a minimum of three innings. Please try to use the entire two-hour time period for your games. In inclement weather, you may use your discretion to shorten the game. 2. All children should bat off tee until they make contact with the ball. 3. They can only run 1 base at a time. 4. All children will bat every inning. The last person up runs all the way back home, thus clearing the bases of all runners. 5. There is no scoring or outs. Children should be taught to make the plays, but THERE ARE NO OUTS! They should be taught the basic throws to first. All batters get to base. NO OUTS! 6. All batters and runners must wear helmets. 7. Move the children around and let them all get to play all the positions. 8. There is no catcher. 9. Be extremely careful of children swinging bats. All players must remain in dugout until their time at bat. 10. Coaches are encouraged to remain on the field to assist and talk to the players. Try and teach the players defensive and running skills, regardless of which team they are on. 11. Work with batter's footwork and stride when hitting off the tee. 12.Encourage the players to stand up and be ready, keep their hats and gloves on. Keep the game fun!
