Majors
Little League Baseball Division (League Ages 9 to 12)

The Little League Baseball Division (known as the Majors Division at National Little League) is for boys and girls ages 9-12. All league-age 12-year-olds must play in the Majors division. National Little League traditionally has four teams in the Majors Division with a firm limit of 12 players per team. The Majors Division at NLL will be comprised mostly of league-age 11- and 12-year-olds with a limited number of 10-year-olds. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.

AAA
(League Ages 9 to 11)

The International division is the first level at National where teams play their games "across the street" on the NLL Majors Field. AAA rosters are typically composed of between 12 and 15 players and teams are created by a player draft. Players not drafted in the Majors Division will, under most circumstances, play in the International Division. As the "Minors" division to National's "Majors" division, some players in International may have the opportunity to "play-up" occasionally, should a Majors team be shorthanded for a game.

Farm
(League Ages 8 to 10)

Farm is for boys and girls with more experience and is a "player-pitch" division. Based on experience, some of the 9-year-olds may play in Rookie, while some of the 8-year-olds may play in Farm. Rosters are typically composed of between 12 and 15 players and teams in Farm are created by a player draft. All Farm games are played on the Farm Field.

Rookie
(League Ages 7 to 9)

Junior Farm is the next level of development from Tee Ball. Rookie at National Little League is a "coach pitch" division. Based on experience, some of the 9-year-olds may play in Rookie, while some of the 8-year-olds may play in Farm. Rosters are typically composed of between 12 and 15 players and teams are selected by the league's Player Agent.   Rookie games are played on the T-Ball/Rookie field with a limited number of games on the Farm Field.
