North Kingstown Youth Football seeks to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also, the importance of education in an atmosphere conductive to developing sound mind, body and character while having a good time along the way.

The general objective of North Kingstown Youth Football is to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or natural origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship and physical fitness. The program stresses learning lessons of value far beyond the playing or cheerleading days of the boys and girls involved, such as self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership and good sportsmanship.

By instilling these values into our youth participants, the North Kingstown Youth Football League strives for excellence in youth sports and academics.

Just a few highlights from season 2006:

-3 out of our 4 competitive football teams competed in the Rhody Youth Football Playoffs. (Jr. Pee Wee, Jr. Midget & Sr. Midget)
-Our Jr. Pee Wee team went on to compete as the Division 2 representative from RYF in the regional playoffs.
-Our Jr. & Sr. Midget cheerleaders were the Rhody Youth Football Elite Division State Champions. They both went on to compete at the Regional Championship in New Hampshire where both teams took home 2nd place trophies!
