New Jersey Warriors: Welcome
May 2009
The NJ Warriors Football Team has provided a solid 2008 winning season. Despite previous success, the NJ Warriors has been faced with new challenges, and we are taking the necessary steps in the business of minor league sports to work through those challenges.
As we continue striving to become one of the minor league elite programs, this team needs to expand it's front office, seek additional sponsors, and most importantly, build upon our great fan base. Members of our organization wear far too many hats, and we need to bring in more quality people in order to have a successful organization. "We are currently seeking to restructure the front office which could mean many changes to the way the NJ Warriors are operating in the future" said Director of Operations, Tina Brown. One possibility is giving another talented coach the opportunity to lead the NJ Warriors football team to the next level. While ownership and head coaching is a huge responsibility and in the best interest of the team, "My personal goal is to focus on the business operation of the team and give someone else that chance" said Owner and Head Coach Ronnie Paige.
With all the changes and challenges that the NJ Warriors Football Team has faced, we have made a decision to stop competing on the playing field for the 2009 season. We know this will be a disappointment to many, but in the long term, we would return stronger on the playing field and business aspect.
We appreciate our fans and members patience during this time. And we look forward to a stronger and more successful organization in 2010.
Thank you!
