WELCOME TO THE NEW JERSEY DISTRICT 19 WEBPAGE

Member Leagues: Colts Neck, Manalapan National, Eatontown, Middletown, Freehold Boro, Shore Regional (Monmouth Beach), Freehold Twp. American, Freehold Twp. National, Marlboro North,  Marlboro South, Lincroft, Sandy Hook, Long Branch, Tinton Falls, Manalapan American and Bayshore (Union Beach) & Eatontown Softball. 
National Background Checks: Background checks conducted through LexisNexis as of 8 a.m. Eastern U.S. Time on Feb. 14, 2012, once again meet Little League International's background check regulation (Regulation I [c] [8] and [9]). As always, local Little Leagues and districts in the U.S. are required to, at a minimum, perform a check that covers the Sex Offender Registries of all U.S. states/territories, for certain personnel in the league, as noted in the regulations. Again, LexisNexis meets and exceeds Little League International's background check regulation (Regulation I [c] [8] and [9]). To access LexisNexis, click here.
  • All members of a local league's board of directors, managers, coaches and any other volunteer staff who will have "regular service and/or repetitive access" to players or teams are subject to background checks. This requirement is extended to all perspective coaches, including practice coaches and those under the age of 18. For umpires who officiate in multiple Little League programs, a background check must be done by each league in which the umpire officiates. Using LexisNexis affords each league 125 free background checks and a cost of $1 per check for any subsequent checks. For new leagues registering with LexisNexis, or leagues renewing their LexisNexis registration, be aware that it may take several days for the registration to be processed. Eligibility Waiver Deadline: All waiver requests involving player eligibility must be processed by the district and respective regional offices, and acted upon by the Little League International Charter Committee in South Williamsport, no later than June 6, 2012 and prior to said player participating in the local Little League program.

All waivers requests (for the league, team, player, manager, and/or coach) of any kind must be submitted and approved not later than June 6, 2012. All regular season team rosters must be submitted to Little League International in accordance with the requirements outlined in Regulation IV (g), not later than June 6, 2012.
