WELCOME TO THE NEW JERSEY DISTRICT 19 WEBPAGE
Welcome to the New Jersey District 19 Little League Website. We will try to provide the most updated news for all of our Leagues within the District. We have posted new regulation and rule changes for the 2008 season that will signiificantly impact play for the upcoming regular and tournament seasons. We ask you to check back regularly for any changes. Look in on the Site as much as possible to get the information for you organizations. If you wish to post an important event going on in your League please contact the District Administrator, Buddy Coates as soon as possible to post that event.

Equipment
I have noticed that several teams are not taking responsibility to equip catchers with the dangling throat protector. This practice puts the player at risk as well as the manager, coaches and the league itself. Furthermore, any future observance of a catcher not wearing the proper equipment will result in the removal of the manager from that game and the next played game.

These are the numbers you can use to call to find out whether the tournament game you are scheduled to play is still on. All League presidents have gotten the numbers and email addresses of the leagues in District 19. Use this as a tool to obtain useful information regarding weather and field conditions. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IF THERE IS NO NUMBER FOR THAT LEAGUE LISTED HERE OR YOU CANNOT REACH ANYONE AT THE TOURNAMENT SITE THAT YOU APPEAR FOR THE GAME. IT MAY RAIN IN MIDDLETOWN BUT BE DRY AS A BONE IN TINTON FALLS.
