NJ Cardinals founder was Samuel Cosby.This is the Cardinals 15th year in existence. We are making good progress and become one of the best AAU organizations. We have a great coaching staff that is dedicated to teaching and developing players. In the first year of existence the program had only one team of 15&U. This year the program has expanded and now has a 11u ,14u , 16U. The Cardinals have a great General
Manager and Coach. Sam Cosby was a 2 sport player at ST. Pauls College.(Basketball& Football)Coach Cosby was a Div. II All-American,2 Time All CIAA. All Time Total Offense Leader,Touchdown Passes Leader (76) and Total Yardage Leader(14,000). He knows the game and teaches it to the players in the organization.He hopes to bring his winning ways to the NJ Cardinals AAU organization. With the support of dedicated players, fans and parents this organization could become one of the best in the state. 2005 the NJ Cardinals made it to the semifinals of the of the American Youth Basketball Tour (AYBTour) but fell two points shy of advancing.2006 The New Cardinals Won its first Nationl Championship .The 12u Team played in Williamsport Pa.With a 11-0 Record NJ Cardinals Capture it 1st National Championship.
Cardinals team are making progress and beating up on top programs.2009 NJ Cardinals 16u team are one of the top 4 teams in the state and have earn a automatic bid to compete for another National Championship.With some good luck and some good sponsorship these player have earn something that they will never forget in a life time.
