VIA Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway)
Exit airport to the north. Take "Center City/Route 76" direction
Follow 76 West (toward the city) to the "30th Street/Center City" exit
(You will pass the Vare Avenue exit, the South Street bridge exit)
At the "30th Street" exit, take the "Center City/476 East" direction.
The very first exit will be "23rd Street and Art Museum".
Take "23rd Street" exit. It will immediately branch to the right (23rd Street). DO NOT go onto 23rd Street stay to the left until you reach the light on 22nd Street (one block)
Turn left on 22nd Street and go north on 22nd until it dead-ends on Fairmount Avenue at the Eastern Pennsylvania Penitentiary (approximately 5 lights and seven blocks).
At the dead-end make a right on Fairmount (you will see the Penitentiary now on your left.
At the end of the Penitentiary wall (and the second light) - you will make a LEFT on Corinthian Avenue. (You will then keep the Penitentiary on your left for one block)
Stay on Corinthian Avenue for approximately 7 blocks. Corinthian Avenue ends at Girard College.
You will see the entrance of the campus and Founder's Hall in front of you.
VIA Interstate 95
Exit the airport to the north, taking 95 north (direction Trenton, etc)
Drive North on Interstate 95 approximately 6-8 miles. You will see the direction "I-76 West - Center City/ to 76 West/ Callowhill" DO NOT take Callowhill.
Take 676 the cross-town expressway West.
Pass Center City (Broad Street) exit and take the exit marked "22nd Street/Art Museum"
Make a right (you cannot make a left) on 22nd Street going north and stay on 22nd Street until you reach the penitentiary.
At the end of the Penitentiary wall (and the second light) - you will make a LEFT on Corinthian Avenue. (You will then keep the Penitentiary on your left for one block)
Stay on Corinthian Avenue for approximately 7 blocks. Corinthian Avenue ends at Girard College. You will see the entrance of the Campus and Founder's Hall in front of you.
FROM BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BRIDGE (NJ)
Cross the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and follow sign for 676 - Center City

Take the Center Street, Orange Exit 11. Turn right onto South Center Street (South Center Street becomes Centre Street.) Follow it approximately 2 miles to the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Centre Street. Enter the University through the Farinella Gate across the intersection on South Orange Avenue.
From 280 West
Take Exit 11B, Day Street/Essex Avenue, Orange. Off-ramp becomes Freeway Drive West. Make a left at the second light onto South Day Street (Joyce Carnegie Place). Make a left at the next light onto Freeway Drive East. Turn right at the next light onto South Center Street. (South Center Street becomes Centre Street.) Follow it approximately 2 miles to the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Centre Street. Enter the University through the Farinella Gate across the intersection on South Orange Avenue.

Take Exit 49B (Maplewood). Stay to the right off the exit. Make the second right, which is a jug handle, and cross over Springfield Avenue onto Valley Street. Take this street approximately 3 miles to South Orange Avenue. Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the University. Enter through the Farinella Gate on the right.

Take Exit 50B (Millburn), and turn right onto Vauxhall Road. Go three lights and bear right onto Valley Street. Take this street approximately 3 miles to South Orange Avenue. Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the University. Enter through the Farinella Gate on the right.

Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 145. Follow directions for 280 West.
