Brian Toy and Jesse Darsinos need your help!
Brian and Jesse (Niskayuna 12 YO Cal Ripken players) will be working
with the organization, “Pitch in for Baseball”, to help create a better
baseball experience for kids around the world. “Pitch in for Baseball”
collects baseball equipment and donates it to different baseball
organizations and leagues in underprivileged areas. These include many
areas in this country and around the world.
“Pitch in for Baseball” will accept new or gently used:
- Youth gloves and cleats
- Youth aluminum bats
- Youth catcher’s gear
- Instructional books or videos
- Teaching aids, like batting tees
“Pitch in for Baseball” will also accept new baseballs, softballs and
batting helmets.
There will be bins for collecting any donated items at the Majors/ Babe
Ruth fields and the Lower fields (Fields 1-4) starting Saturday, June
13th, through Monday, July 6th, 2009. If you have any questions, please
call Brian (372-1683) or Jesse (374-6883).
