Parent/Player Game Huge Success

Our First annual Parent/Player game went off without a hitch yesterday.  The 3:00 pm game, the seniors game, was a barn burner. With the seniors holding on to the lead until the top of the fifth, the parents rallied to a one run lead entering the top of the sixth. Capt Rich Brenner and his lively group of players held off the attack.  Parents 9 and the seniors 8.

At the 5:30 game it was the parents vs the juniors. Making his first appearance as a manager/coach was Andrew "i'll never do it again" Brenner.  Capt. Bob Walazek lead the battle for the parents squad. The parents took a commanding lead in the first three innings, but the tireless under 10's were not ready to lie down yet. Needing 7 innings to try to break the tie, the game was called even.

All players were treated to pizza and a drink (parents included). While no ice was needed in any game I'm sure the makers of BEN GAY did appreciate our efforts.

Would like to thank Tim Scalisi and Chip Gulledge for picthing in each game and A great big thank you to our guest umpire Pete Hersey.

The 8:30 movie was great !!  All had fun !!
