The Jarvis Gamblers came to town for an ISC Travel League doubleheader against the Niagara Snappers on Thursday night at Lancaster Park and gave their hosts a tough couple of games. Game #1 saw the 2 teams tie 4-4 as both teams scored early but no one could push across that crucial tie breaking run. Game #2, was all Jarvis as the Gamblers crushed the Snappers 8-3. Jarvis exploded for 6 runs in 2 innings while the Snappers could muster only 4 hits led by Kevin Newhouse who was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 RBI's.
Next action is this weekend as the Snappers travel to Owen Sound for a 4 game set against the Owen Sound Juniors in ISC Travel League play. 2 games will be played on Saturday at 3pm and 5pm, and 2 games on Sunday at 12pm and 2pm.

**Niagara opened the game with a 3-1 lead after 3 innings of play. Jarvis stormed back with 3 runs in the 4th to make it 4-3. Niagara scraped together a run in the 5th inning to tie it up. Great game by both teams, lots of back and forth action.

**Jarvis jumped all over starter Byron Demoe for 6 runs in 2 innings and put it in cruise for the rest of the game. Only highlight for Niagara was Kevin Newhouse 2 home run performance.
