: Snapper News: Win, Lose, or Draw, Snappers choose all 3
Monday, June 30Win, Lose, or Draw, Snappers choose all 3
The Niagara Snappers had 3 GHFL games last week and came away with a mixed bag of results. After holding the lead for much of the game against the RHCP, the Snappers squandered it away and lost 10-7. In the nightcap of the double header, the bats exploded for 18 runs in 5 innings in an 18-3 romp over the Niagara Dawgs. To close off the week, Niagara travelled to Hamilton to take on the Hawks. Up 6-0, Niagara let Hamilton back into this one late in the game and ended up in a 6-6 tie. Niagara still occupies 1st place in the GHFL by the slimmest of margins over the Hawks. Scott Young was on fire all week, smashing 5 home runs in 3 games and picking up 10 RBI's in the process. Next action is this Friday night at Lancaster park with a GHFL doubleheader slated to get underway at 7pm.
