Legends Tournament

The Niagara Snappers finished pool play at the Legend's tournament in Kitchener, ON this weekend with a 2-2 record, good enough for a 3rd place finish.  The Snappers lost to Jarvis Gamblers and Kitchener Rivershark Twins, while defeating Ashland Merchants and the Bridgeport Braves.  The 2-2 record was good enough to move the Snappers into the playoff round where they matched up with the St. Thomas Centennials.  St. Thomas struck early and cruised to a 5-0 win with pitcher Scott Wagar tossing the shut out.  The loss eliminated the Snappers from play.

The team would like to thank Larry Lynch for inviting us to Legends for the first time, the tournament was great, park was spectacular as usual, and the competition was tough.
