2008 Snapper Shootout Program Online

The Niagara Snappers (www.niagarasnappers.com) and Aerial Promotions (www.aerialpromotions.ca) are very excited to announce that for the first time ever, the program for the Snapper Shootout will be released in advance of the tournament.  As anyone who has attended the tournament or who has been able to get their hands on a copy of the program will tell you that it is widely regarded as one of the most professional, interesting and visually appealing programs in fastball circles today.

There are 2 ways to view the program, the first way is online at http://www.aerialpromotions.ca/NSSP08.html.  This is part of Aerial Promotions web page as has been formatted for online viewing.  The second way to view the program is to visit our website www.niagarasnappers.com and click on “DOWNLOADS” on the left hand side.  Click on the link for the program and you can download it directly to your computer.  Please note that the program is in PDF format and you will need to have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to view it.

The Snapper Shootout takes place from June 6th-8th at Centennial Park in Virgil, ON.  16 teams (13 ranked in the latest ISC II rankings, 2 top junior teams in the province and the #20 ranked ISC Niagara Snappers) will all be taking place for over $4500 in cash prizes.  All the preparations have been made, and the fields are looking great.  ISC Regional Commissioner Joe Todd, MPP Jim Bradley and Niagara-on-the-Lake Councilor Art Viola will all be taking part in the opening ceremonies on Diamond 1 preceding the Ohsweken Redmen/California Lumberkings game at 9pm.

Another reminder that on Thursday June 5th starting at 7pm, the California Lumberkings, who are making the long trip to the Niagara Region for the Shootout, will be taking on the Niagara Snappers and at 9pm taking on the GHFL All Stars at Lancaster park in St. Catharines.  The 2 games are a fundraiser for Melissa Brideau, longtime girlfriend of Niagara Falls Fury player Tom Watkinson.  Door prizes, 50/50 draw, and a BBQ will be available to all fans in attendance that evening.  Also, the California Lumberkings and the GHFL All Stars will be putting together 2 separate commemorative t-shirts that will be available for purchase.  We encourage all players and fans to head down to beautiful Lancaster Park in St. Catharines to take in some very competitive fastball action and help support a good cause.

For further information on the fundraiser night, or if you would like to donate a door prize, please contact Dan Bernard (dan55@cogeco.ca) or Blair Setford (blairjs@rogers.com).
