Timberlane Youth Soccer League: Welcome

TYSL is a recreational soccer league serving the towns of Plaisow, Atkinson, Sandown and Danville, New Hampshire

ELECTION NOTICE:

On November 8th, TYSL will be holding elections for the following positions:

President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary

If you are interested in running for one of these positions please forward your intent with a letter that describes your background experience to nhtysl@timberlaneyouthsoccer.org.

All Parents and Guardians of registered players are considered eligible voters, however only ONE vote per household.  You can vote either by e-mailing your completed ballot to nhtysl@timberlaneyouthsoccer.org* on November 7th, beginning at 5:00 PM until November 8th, ending at 5:00 PM.  You may also appear at the Sandown Town Hall, lower level on Sunday, November 8th between the hours of 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM to collect a blank ballot and cast your vote.

We encourage our members to support the volunteers who make this league possible.

*all submitted ballots will only be seen and counted by the Registrar

NEW NOTICE:

U6 and U8 Division Pictures will be distributed at Sandlot Sports Field this Saturday, October 31st* throughout the morning.

U8G/U10G, U10 Coed, U12, U14/U16 Division Pictures will be distributed at Pope Field on Saturday, November 7th* throughout the morning.

*If you are unable to be there to pick your pictures up please let the league know by either calling or sending an e-mail.  Please go to Contact Us.

TYSL NOTICE:  We have opened a Concession Stand, located at Sandlot Sports, for our U6 and U8 players and their families!  If you haven't had a chance to grab a cup of coffee or your favorite pastry before you leave the house on your way to the field - DO NOT BE ALARMED!  Our Concession Stand will be stocked with plenty of HOT COFFEE, DOUGHNUTS AND OTHER MOUTH WATERING PASTRIES!  There will also be FRESH MADE POPCORN and a variety of cold drinks to quench your THIRST.

Have you thought of volunteering just a small amount of your time this season?  NOW would be a great time to HELP by supplying a BAKED GOOD to be sold at the CONCESSION STAND*.  For those of you interested please reach out to our Concession Stand Co-ordinator by leaving a voice message at 603-382-3344 or by sending an e-mail to nhtysl@timberlaneyouthsoccer.org.  Please include your name, phone number, a good time to reach you and that you are calling in regards to donating a baked good.  All donations will be kindly received with a sweet tooth smile!!

THEY'RE HERE!!

TYSL has just received NON-HOODED SWEATSHIRTS and SOCCER BAGS.  The sweatshirts are ideal to wear under a game shirt on a chilly morning or just to wear out around town.  There are no hood or strings that may cause injury on the playing field.  The sweatshirts come in a light gray color and have the TYSL logo printed on the front, left side.  The available sizes are Youth-M, Youth-L, Youth-XL, Adult-S, Adult-M and Adult-L.  The soccer bags are light weight and can be worn as a backpack.  They also have the TYSL logo printed on the bag.  They come in four colors - Royal Blue, Light Blue, Red and Purple.

Each Sweatshirt is reasonably priced at $20*.

Each Soccer Bag is affordably priced at $15*.

You will find these practical items for sale at our Concession Stand located at Sandlot Sports in Sandown on game days.  Please arrive early since there were a limited amount purchased for this season and as always we thank you for your patronage!

Coaches - TYSL would like you to make-up games that are not played.  Please contact your division coordinator to arrange to make-up your game.  Here are your make-up game options:

Tuesdays - Pope Field

Sundays - Pope Field (this option requires permission from Atkinson Rec. Committe prior to approval)

Monday thru Fridays, Sundays- Sandlot Sports Field (this option requires that U6 games be played on field closest to Pavilion, U8 games be played on field furthest from pavilion so that team practices are minimally affected)

*TYSL will make every effort to arrange for a referee or referees to be there for your game.

It is MANDATORY that TYSL Coaches and Assistant Coaches register through the Kids Safe program.  The NH Soccer Association requires ALL VOLUNTEERS in any capacity to register.

TYSL is in need of Volunteers to help keep the league running smoothly.  We are looking for parents who can provide a small amount of their time.  Typical activities can be batched in increments of an hour or two.  They are:

TYSL Volunteers would like to let our members know that due to personnel changes within the organization and a new registration process using Coaches Town, we understand there has been some confusion.  We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered.  It is our committment to continue to improve our services and communication.  In an effort to do that we would like to hear from you.  Please take a minute and send an e-mail with your ideas on ways to improve TYSL.  Our first challenge has and always will be to solicit volunteer time.  This league would not be in existence if it were not for hard working, individuals who sacrifice their time to manage the many different activities every season.  Please e-mail us at nhtysl@timberlaneyouthsoccer.org.  We look forward to hearing from you!!
