Girls Little League Softball in Naples, Florida

image_name2
Welcome to the official website for the Naples Girls Softball Little League organization! We are in Little League Florida Section 6, District 27. We hope the site provides you entertainment and information in a timely and enjoyable fashion.

The mission of the Naples Girls Softball Little League is to strive to structure a system that will enable all players to learn how to play fast pitch softball to the best of their natural ability. Thus fulfilling two goals:

1)        To introduce recreational players into the program at the correct level where they have the opportunity to advance to the best of their ability.

2)        To provide an adequate system for the talented players, enabling them to advance to the next level of play. Including the step from little league to high school.

Our volunteers will guide our efforts to accomplish this mission.

A Volunteer Application is available on-line - Click the word Handouts in the column to your left. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader V8.1. This is a free download.

Advance Clinic offerings for 9 & 10's

	Hey Softball Fans -

As we approach the end of the season and want to challenge players to further develop their skills, NGSLL has combined with Gulf Coast and Golden Gate to offer Advanced Player Clinics.  These clinics are open to all 9 & 10 year old players from each League.  These clinics will be more intense than regular season practices and cover advanced topics.  These clinics are designed for those players and parents that desire to play at a competitive level and are willing to commit to it.

This Sunday (5/26) from 4-6PM at Max Hasse located off of Golden Gate Blvd., NGSLL, Golden Gate and Gulf Coast Coaches will hold Advanced Player Clinics until All-Star Clinics start which will prepare kids for the All-Star Season.

The effectiveness of these Clinics will depend upon player participation but more importantly upon Coaches and Parent involvement.  Based upon the number of players that attend, we will need to staff multiple stations with Coaches and Parents to move the girls quickly through stations without standing around.  No experience is necessary on the part of Parents or Coaches.  You will be instructed and learn.

	Thank you!

	Katie Curry

	NGSLL President
