Sports Physicals Opportunity - May 30th

 If you can, take advantage of this GREAT opportunity to get your physical taken care of!! Dr. Cullen is our school doctor and they will do a great job and it is cheaper than anywhere you will go.

2009 Summer Schedule and Directions

Starting Monday, June 1, the summer schedule for the girls cross country team will be as follows:

Mondays and Thursdays:          Meet at George Pierce Park

Tuesdays and Fridays:              Meet at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center

Wednesdays:                            Sims Lake Park

Saturdays:                                Meet at George Pierce Park

You must have a water bottle and good running shoes and you should bring your watch if you have one.  If you don’t have one, go to Walmart and purchase a cheap stopwatch so you can time your runs and you won’t have to rely on someone else!

We are running in different locations this summer (like last year) to try and cut down on injuries from running on the roads all summer long.  The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center along with George Pierce Park, allows for mileage that can be run on mostly trails and not roads and sidewalks.

We will also incorporate accelerators after certain runs.

Please be picked up by 9:00 a.m. Monday-Friday and 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.

The message board our primary methods of communication thoughout the season. The coaches use this board to post important messages to the team, allow runners to ask questions, and lets the team carry on a dialogue between each other.
