REFUNDS:
   • Full refunds are available until February 28, 2010.
   • To request a refund please send an email to info@NewtonGirlsSoftball.org. Do not attempt to contact Active.com with any questions or requests. They are a for-profit company that only processes our on-line registrations. They do not have a mechansim to entertain your questions and/or pass them along to us.
   • No refunds will be made after February 28, 2009, with the exception of middle school players who choose to opt-out of NGSoftball due to selection for their middle school team. In this case, the league must be notified by email doug@NewtonGirlsSoftball.org
within 2 days of the middle school's team announcement.

PLAYER (and coach) PAIRING:
If two girls would like to play on the same team they must each list the name of the other girl on their application AND both applications must be received by the deadline date of FEBRUARY 28, 2009. If sisters would like to play on the same team they must select each other and not select an additional player.

If coaches want to be guaranteed that they will coach together, their children must select each other in this field.

Sorry, no exceptions!

TEAM SELECTION:
Teams generally have players from 3 to 5 schools. We will make every effort to place a player who does not request a "pair-me-with" with at least one player from her school, so every player should know someone on her team. Requests for certain coaches/teams are not allowed. Players in grades 1 to 5 will be contacted by their coaches BEFORE the indoor April clinics at NNHS. Team rosters for grades 6-8 will be created after middle school teams are selected, usually mid to late April.

For more details regarding how rosters are selected please visit our Rec. League Policies page.

PRACTICES:
Practice day(s) and locations are determined by the coaches with input from their players after rosters are distributed.

MAKE-UP GAMES:
Saturdays are reserved for make-up games due to bad weather. Game times will follow the Sunday schedule.

ATTENDANCE:

Softball is a team sport and part of being a good teammate is attendance. Therefore we expect players to attend at least 75% of their games and practices. If you are considering another activity that also requires your attendance on one of your game days, please be fair to yourself and others by selecting only one activity this spring.

SWEATSHIRTS AND GLOVES:
Pickup will be at the first indoor April clinic at NNHS.

If you have any questions regarding our policies please click Rec. League Policies or FAQ’s tab on your left for a more detailed explanation.
