PRIZES & AWARDS
Every day of camp, prizes and awards are presented to campers for outstanding plays in the field, noteworthy performances, demonstration of improvement, or implementing techniques from station drills in game situations. In addition, prizes are given based on attentiveness and knowlege during game situations tests/quizzes. Bottles of Gatorade are given out along with various t-shirts to distinguished campers.
All Star by Smash Mouth
"SEEDS FOR SEEDS" DAILY PROGRAM
Campers win a bag of sunflower seeds every time they hit a "seed" or line drive. On average, four to five bags of seeds are awarded per camp day.
GATORADE PLAY(S) OF THE DAY
During the camp day, campers are awarded bottles of gatorade for fine plays, excellent hustle, and attentiveness during trivia/game situation quizzes. On average, five Gatorade bottles are awarded per camp day.
TRIVIA FOR T-SHIRTS
Campers will be taught about the history of the game. As a cool down period at the end of every camp day, campers will be asked baseball trivia questions. Campers who do an exceptional job in this realm will win baseball t-sirts.
ROLL A DOUBLE PLAY FOR TOOTSIE ROLLS
Any team that rolls a double play will win a bag of tootsie rolls to share among the team.
BIG LEAGUE QUESTIONS FOR BIG LEAGUE CHEW
At the end of camp scrimmage games, campers will be asked baseball situation questions and rules of the game. Those campers that are adept at answering these questions will win Big League Chew bubble gum as a prize.
