Welcome to the 2009/2010 Wrestling Season
Below is the schedule for the 1st 4 weeks of the practice season. Remember all wrestlers must hand in the Medical Release Form before or at the 1st practice. Also, all wrestlers need head gear and wrestling shoes. Dress for practice should be shorts and t-shirts.
For insurance purposes wreslters who register on Monday will not be allowed to practice until the next practice on Wednesday. It takes a day to get fully registered. So those not registered may want to make arrangements to register prior to Monday.
On Wednesday November 4 there will be a brief parent meeting at 7:45 with Ken Lindner and Brian Leonard.

Registration Information
2009/2010 Elementary and Middle School Wrestling Teams
The New Milford Wrestling Association (NMWA) will begin it’s 11th season in November. NMWA is inviting all interested, regardless of experience, to join the Elementary (K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th grade) and the Middle School (6th, 7th, 8th grade) teams. The teams are open to anyone from any town. The program focuses on the fundamentals of wrestling, teaching the basic moves and strategies involved with wrestling, and introduces the wrestlers to the enjoyment of one on one competition. Practices will be held weeknights from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sarah Noble School. The first practice will be Monday November 2nd. NMWA is a member of the Western CT League and will be competing in matches against neighboring towns throughout the season. The club also travels to weekend tournaments around the region throughout the season which are completely optional. A second registration will be held on Monday October 5th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Sarah Noble School (upstairs multi-purpose room). The fee is $160 with a 10% family discount. Registration fee should be made payable to the New Milford Wrestling Association (NMWA). The 2009/2010 Registration Form is available for download in the "Handouts" section on the club website.
