JOB POSTING : EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ,NMYR

New Mexico Youth Rugby (NMYR) is a registered 501 (c) 3 and
is currently seeking a part time Executive Director. This position will be open until filled.
 
NMYR is the governing body of youth rugby in the State of New Mexico. NMYR has been established for the last ten years and works in collaboration with USA Rugby to help further the sport throughout the state.
 
The Executive Director oversees the day to day activities of the High School and Under-15 contact programs in New Mexico, with the greatest concentration of teams within the Albuquerque Metro area.                      
 
The Executive Director is responsible for the following duties in addition to others as they arise:
Pursue and establish fundraising activities and sponsorship to promote financial stability for NMYR, support volunteer coaches throughout the state, maintain the NMYR website, provide publicity for NMYR, be the source of contact for New Mexico youth rugby teams and attend monthly board meetings as a non-voting member.
 
The Executive Director reports to the president of the board of directors of NMYR and is expected to perform other duties as deemed necessary. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, be proficient with basic computer software, have knowledge of non-profit workings and a desire to help further the sport of rugby in the state of New Mexico.
