New Longview Sea Stallions: Meet the Coaches

Head Coach Adam Hall

I am really looking forward to Coaching New Longview's Summer League Team. As the Coach, I want to do my best to give the children the full experience of being a member of a Summer League Team. I will develop the technique and conditioning of the kids, and turn them into competitive swimmers but I also want them to just have fun! My favorite summers were the ones where I was swimming on Summer League. Of course, I dreaded the fact that I had to get up early for practice, but that meant I got to spend time with the friends from my neighborhood. I would look forward to every Wednesday night, because I got to compete against other friends I had on other teams. Home Meets, where the whole neighborhood would come together to support the Swim Team. The excitement when you win a race, or when you found out that your team won a meet! Lastly, championships are truly an unforgettable memory as one day of intense competition brings together

When I was in 7th Grade, I started swimming competitively with the KC Blazers, and during the summers, I would swim with the Raintree Rays Summer League team. I attended Lee's Summit West High School, where I was a Varsity Swimmer all 4 years under Colleen Gibler. I graduated from West in 2010. I then attended Missouri State University, and graduated in May of 2015 with a BSED in Spanish Education, and a GPA of 3.11. In August, I came back and joined Lee's Summit West as Assistant Coach for the Boy's Swim Team under my former coach, Colleen Gibler. In November, I became Head Coach for the Girl's Swim & Dive team at West. During this past season as Coach, I personally helped first-time swimmers develop into Junior Varsity event-winning swimmers, as well as working with competitive-level swimmers to qualify for State.

Also, I am studying Middle School Education in school, and will be graduating in December of 2016.
