About The New Jersey Flames

We are competitive U14 and U12,  girls basketball teams based in Ocean/Monmouth Counties,New Jersey and are members of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).
 


Mission Statement

      To promote and provide exposure and developmental basketball opportunities
for girls who participate in our program with the main focus on developing
basketball skills for each player enabling that child the opportunity to play
competitive basketball with our program as well as any future programs. 




Goals

** Provide a fun atmosphere and learning experience
** Develop physical, emotional/social fitness and strong  team 
     based basketball skills
** Demonstrate and model responsible coach, player and parent
     conduct on and off the court
** Assert constructive coaching and instructional techniques
** Have and develop positive parental involvement in all phases 
     of this program
** Encourage players, parents and coaches to strive for excellence
     both on and off the court
** To nuture the players to continue to mature and develop by sharing
     their basketball skills, friendship, and individual talents with their
     team members and younger players in the organization
** Help support this program with fundraising activities when needed
