New Jersey Cup: Welcome
The New Jersey Cup, presented by US Club Soccer, is open to US Club Soccer member clubs and teams in New Jersey.
The format is one-loss elimination.
All teams participating must hold and present US Club Soccer player passes and a roster at all New Jersey Cup games.
Preliminary-round matches will be played in late March, April and early May at the field of a designated home club as determined by Cup officials. Preliminary-round games may be played during the week or on the weekend.
The home team in a preliminary-round match at a club field will be responsible for getting referees from a USSF-approved assignor; the two opponents split paying the referees. A three-referee system is requested.
New for 2009: Super Group and Premier Group for U11-12-13-14. The Super Group will be the most-competitive, or top, group offered.
The 2009 New Jersey Cup semifinals and finals for U14, U15, U16 and U17 boys and girls, and U18 boys, will be Saturday, May 9, at Cross Farm Park in Holmdel.
The 2009 New Jersey Cup semifinals and finals for U11, U12 and U13 will be Saturday, May 16, at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.
