New Jersey Cup: Welcome
The New Jersey Cup 2010, presented by US Club Soccer, is open to US Club Soccer member clubs and teams in New Jersey. U10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18/19 boys' and girls' teams.

APPLICATION FEES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, FEB. 6. The New Jersey Cup application process is not set up to accept credit cards.
The format is one-loss elimination, with consolation brackets for teams that lose their first-round games. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of two games in the New Jersey Cup -- advancing in the winners' group or playing in the consolation bracket.
All teams must hold and present US Club Soccer player passes and a US Club Soccer roster at all New Jersey Cup games. Teams that do not belong to US Club Soccer may join US Club Soccer as an individual team. No USYS/NJYS passes/rosters will be accepted.
Preliminary-round matches will start being played in March, depending on the number of teams in an age group. Preliminary-round games may be played during the week or on the weekend.
A Super Group and Premier Group for U11-12-13-14 brackets is offered. The Super Group is the most-competitive, or top, group offered.
The semifinals and finals for U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18/19 teams will be Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. The semifinals and finals for U10, U11, U12 and U13 groups will be Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Mercer County Park.
The New Jersey Cup semifinals and finals are the first soccer tournaments of the year held on Mercer County Park's fields 3-9.

All teams participating in the New Jersey Cup will need to have valid US Club Soccer passes for all players and coaches at all games.

Players may only play for one team participating in the New Jersey Cup. Players may not play for different teams in different age groups, or different clubs, even if their team gets eliminated.

The entry fee for the 2010 New Jersey Cup for U11-and-older is $165 per team.
2010 will be the fifth year that the application fee has remained the same.
The application fee for U10's is $100 per team.
Once a team is accepted, there are no entry-fee refunds.
U18/19-U17-U16-U15 will play 80-minute matches: 2 x 40
U14-U13-U12-U11 will play 70-minute matches: 2 x 35
U10 will play 60-minute matches: 2 x 30
Overtime: if a game is tied after regulation play, the two teams will then play two, 5-minute periods of golden-goal overtime. If the teams remain tied after overtime, the match will go to FIFA penalty kicks.
