...to the site your parents warned you about. This is the former home of the NorthEnd Social Club, a group of soccer enthusiasts who used to gather on Sunday mornings for kickarounds, then decided to actually put a team together for CO-ED competitive play. The NorthEnd really began as a social experiment. Young adults ranging from their 20s to their mid-30s actually thought that they knew how to play the "beautiful game." We were all so naive...but we didn't care. Our gatherings were memorable and important, not just for the games we played, but for the relationships that we established. True, the NorthEnd Social Club is no more. Just like Section 137 at Columbus Crew Stadium which was removed to put in a concert stage, it is all just a memory. However, the team legacy lives on through this website. Our motto still is "WE PLAY FOR BEER" even though our muscle and bones now seek out Aleve. Our love for Columbus Crew soccer and Ohio State football shall never waiver. And we will always be the people that your parents warned you about.

And now a word from ol' Graybeard, Tony Contakis:
All,
I know that it has been some time since many of us have seen each other. Many of us have gone our separate ways. Though each of us have moved on to new endeavors and no longer actively play for the NorthEnd (NESC Roosters) team, I am sure you will join me in wishing our friends and teammates that continue to play 'the beautiful game' the best of luck in the upcoming indoor soccer season.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL IN OUR OLD NorthEnd FAMILY!
Tony
