Team Parent / Team Mom Responsibilities
The function of the Team Parent / Team Mom is to assist the Manager, Coaches, Players and Parents in matters relating to their individual Team and League as described below.
All are designed for the betterment of the League in its efforts to promote family involvement.
The duties of a Team Parent / Team Mom include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate with the League and Team Manager distribution and return of team uniforms. |

Communicating and coordinating team picture details with parent and players, ordering of pictures and coordinating with the responsible Picture Day Board Member. |

Assigning and reminding parent and player volunteers about their mandatory Field Maintenance shifts. |

Assigning and reminding parents of their mandatory snack bar volunteer hours. (Note: Parents of every child playing at NESALL is required to work a minimum of one or two 2 1/2 -3 hour [approx.] shift in the Snack Shop per child. Only those parents working their required shifts will be given pictures and a yearbook at the end of the season. Please note that there may be more than one shift assigned to each player's parents. The snack bar shifts are determined with the final league game schedule in the spring. There are also rain-outs, playoff, and tournament games scheduled intermittently and towards the end of the season. Many volunteers are needed to help fill these shifts. If you have volunteers that are only available on certain days and times, be sure to work with the Snack Bar Coordinator to block in those times for your parents. |

Encourage League parents and players to actively support NESALL fundraising activities. |

Coordinate and control fundraising including the collection of fundraising money to be turned in to the fundraising board member(s) only. |

Coordinate and control Pancake Breakfast ticket sales and other activities involving the sales of tickets and collection of money. |
| 8 |
Encourage team spirit through team picnics, or other similar team and family activities that will promote parent good will and support of the team and the league. |

Assist the team's Manager and Coaches in dealing with any parent problem and bring serious grievances to the attention of the Division Coordinator or League President. |

Assist the manager in recruiting team scorekeepers. |

Team Parents / Team Moms are subject to approval by the Board of the Directors after clearance of a background check that includes Megan's Law review and Little League application approval. Volunteer Applications can be downloaded under the Handouts section or from the link below. |
