Fundraiser Pick Up

The 2013 NESALL Fundraiser will be delivered on Monday May 13, 2013. Please be at the NESALL Field at 6:00 to pick up your fundraiser goods for delivery. If you have any questions, please contact Gina Mendez via email at mendez3229@sbcglobal.net.

Tournament Season Approaches

As the regular season for the A-Intermediate divisions start to wind down, please remember that tournament season is approaching fast. The Santa Ana City Tournament begins on May 18 for the A-Majors divisions. Schedules will be released soon, however actual team placement on those schedules will not be know until the managers meetings which are held the week of May 12th, prior to the start of the tournaments.

After City Tournament, we have a series of tournaments at different levels. Beginning on June 1st we have the 7 and 8 year old District Machine Pitch Tournament which runs for a week. We are holding a meeting for A and AA Managers on May 6, 2013 at 7:30 at NESALL to discuss this tournament with the managers and coached from those divisions. We are looking to field two or three teams for this tournament. We will be sending information to the parents of league age 7-8 year old players through your teams on Saturday May 4, 2013. We will need to know by May 11th how many players we have available to determine at that time how many teams we will have.

The Tournament of Champions also starts on June 1st and 2nd for AAA and Majors. This tournament is for the teams who come in first place throughout District 30. We may receive multiple entries at each level, however we will not know until May 15th.

This tournament is followed by All-Stars for players 9-13. All star availability notification will be going out on Saturday and will need to be returned no later than May 11, 2013. This information is needed to determine how many teams we can put together and ensure players who are selected to the teams are available. All Star voting for the Major division is Saturday May 4th.

This year we are starting a T-ball tournament for our younger players to give them a taste of baseball at the next level. We expect these to be high scoring games decided by the team who can make the most outs. More information on the tournament and the tournament dates will come out to the T-ball managers in the form of a divisional meeting held on May 11th. The T-ball Division schedule is also being modified at this time to include two additional teams from SE starting May 13, 2013. This modified schedule will be handed out on May 11th at the divisional meeting.

Board Of Director Elections




Elections for the 2014 NESALL Board of Directors run through Saturday May 11, 2013. Ballots are available Monday through Thursday and Saturday during games and practices.

Each parent/member of the league will be allowed to vote once in the election. Casting of ballots will be in person only. Ballots will be available through the Duty Officer, who will validate who has voted on a master list.  Get out today and cast your ballot to help shape the future of NESALL.
