North East Santa Ana Little League: 2010 Spring Season Divisions
Jerry Ash T-Ball Division – league age 4, 5, and first time 6 year old players. Every player bats in every inning. Games usually last for 3 innings or 1 hour. Players in this division are taught the basics of baseball, how to catch, throw, bat, and run the bases.
Rookie League (Coach Pitch) Division
Rookie League (Coach Pitch) Division – league age 7 and 8 year old first time players, and some league age 6 players (must have one year T-ball experience).
Single-A Machine Pitch Division
A (Machine Pitch) Division – league age 7 and 8 year olds with Rookie League experience and some first time 9 year olds (based upon player agent recommendation after assessment).
Double-A
AA Division – Primarily 9 year olds w/ some upper end 8 year olds (must be requested by parents and approved by player agent and Board of Directors). This is the first year of "kid pitch" baseball.
Triple-A
AAA Division – Primarily 10 and 11 year olds w/ some upper end 9 year olds (must be requested by parent and approved by player agent and Board of Directors)/12 year olds upon parent request and District Administrator approval
Majors
Majors Division – Primarily league age 11 and 12 year olds with some league age 10 year olds (a maximum of two 10 year olds per team).
Juniors
This division is for players league age 13 and 14. Players league age 12 are also eligible for the draft into the division.
Senior
This division is for players league age 14 through 16. Players who play High School Baseball are ineligible to play in the spring season. High School players are eligible to play in the summer season and All Star Tournament.
