The Mission of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Umpires Association is:

To improve the quality of umpiring in our organization
and to provide the leagues we service with knowledgeable, dependable
officials who can manage contests fairly and without bias in a professional
manner. Our members hold themselves to the highest standards regarding
mechanics, positioning, rules knowledge and application. Our members also
pride themselves in appearance, game management, and most importantly
clear and professional communication with coaches.


The Northeastern Pennsylvania Umpires Association is affiliated with ASA,
Pony, and Little League.

We are always in the need for more qualified individuals. Our organization
has adopted a mentoring program which has benefited our new/younger
umpires.
