The New England Phoenix  23U team is now taking applications for its 2012 summer team.   Our goal is to provide an opportunity for college softball players to play summer ball without the high level commitment associated with showcase tournament teams.  The focus of this team will be to play 4 or 5 weekend tournaments or weekend double-headers in the southern New England area.  The level of practice or skill work will be determined by the players -- organized practices if desired or individual or small group skill work can be arranged.  The approximate costs will be tournaments(example: 4 tournament at $140) and insurance/administrative costs($25).  Uniforms will be supplied and collected at the end of the season to help minimize costs. If you are or have been a rostered college softball player and interested in joining the New England Phoenix this summer please contact:
