Community S.T.A.T Program

The NEA Rockets Basketball program is a branch of the Community S.T.A.T program (Strengthing Todays Athletes for Tomorrow)

Empowering Young Athletes to Take It to the Next Level

It is the mission of the Community S.T.A.T  Program to educate and empower today’s youth with confidence, commitment and integrity, so they can live a productive and successful tomorrow. Our goal is to teach young athletes respect for themselves, their peers and their community by instilling a code of ethics built on honesty, responsibility and team work.

Together, our players,  families and volunteers work with unyielding spirit to cultivate a safe and disciplined environment so every child can reach their full potential, develop their talents and increase their skills in the game of basketball and more importantly… life.

Who We Are
The N.E.A Rockets was produce because a group of parents and I  were passionate about two things…rasing healthy, successful children and playing the game of Basketball!

This is a non-profit organization  we are strong and we in the  AAU Basketball Program. The Rockets family, including parents, coaches and sponsors is steadfast in our commitment to educate and encourage today’s adolescents who are destined to become tomorrow’s role models.

Our culturally diverse roster includes kids from all areas of Craighead County. The players are given the opportunity to travel and participate in highly competitive tournaments, as well as attend skill camps and customized practice sessions to strengthen their game.  To balance their commitment to basketball, we’ve developed tutorial programs to improve academic skills and we volunteer time in various community “BLAST OFF” programs to inspire other youths, as well as have the teams participate in all N.E.A Rockets fundraising events.
