MISSION STATEMENT:
"THE KIDS COME FIRST" Our League's goal is to help in the
development of young people who learn not only the fundamentals of
football in a competitive atmosphere, but they also learn about
character. We practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and
physical fitness. Our League stresses learning lessons of value,
such as self-discipline, teamwork, friendship, respect, leadership,
and having FUN along the way!!!
THE KIDS COME FIRST POLICY: Is the reason for our continued success. We are PROUD to be the leader in setting the standard for excellence in youth sports. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT! SEE YOU AT THE GAMES!
SPORTSMANSHIP: expresses an aspiration or ethos that the activity will be enjoyed for its own sake, with proper consideration for fairness, ethics, respect, and a sense of fellowship with one's competitors.
THE PURPOSE and philosophy of the NCYFL is three-fold, with Safety foremost in mind.
1. The game is for the KIDS.
2. To provide any and every opportunity to play football for fun.
3. To teach sportsmanship, discipline, self-control and the fundamentals of football, while encouraging competitive play with KIDS of comparable age and weight.
THE HAND-OUT section of this page has lots of good information about the league and offers you the ability to view and download many important league documents. PARENTS! Remember... Your child is guaranteed at least six (6) plays in every game! Sometimes our coaches need a little help being reminded of that! If your child is NOT getting at least six (6) plays a game... Please contact and advise the officer that represents your program. The 2006 NCYFL Handbook has all the contact names and numbers. You may also contact any of our executive board members as well. We Love To Hear From Our Parents, and we will listen...not just hear you. We want you to feel free to tell us what you think, good or bad, we care. Your input is helping us to make this league the best it can be
