Laura Kerrigan, Camp Director, Head Girls Soccer Coach & Asssistant Boys Coach at Cary H.S.
After an outstanding career as an All-American college player and W-League National Tournament MVP, Laura Kerrigan decided to leave a law career and follow her passion of coaching soccer.  She spent 18 years as a college coach at N.C. State University, William and Mary, American University, and Colorado College, before moving to Cary High School to combine her interests in teaching social studies and coaching in the boys' and girls' soccer programs there while spending more time at home with her own children.  She has coached every age group from Under-4s up to the college level, as well as coaching in the state and regional Olympic Development Programs.  She is on National Soccer Coaches Association Natoinal Academy Staff and possesses a United States soccer Federation "A" coaching license.  Coach Kerrigan is well respected on both the regional and national levels as an outstanding player and teacher of the game of soccer. Her energy and enthusiasm, combined with her hands-on coaching style, allows her to personally direct every aspect of the camp. Coach Kerrigan has an undying passion for and dedication to the sport of soccer and to the young people who play it.
