What is the first day of Practice?
Practice will start August 1 of the current year, no matter what day it falls on
How long is the season?
The season runs from August 1 to mid December depending on the team and how well a team does.
Which days of the week are Practice?
During the month of August practice is 5 days a week 2 to 2.5 hours a day and the times are usually 6 - 8 pm, depending on your coach. After Labor Day practice days will depend on your coach.
What happens if we miss 1 to 2 or even 3 weeks of practice because of vacation?
Depending on the number of days or weeks you miss will put a child behind everyone else. We ask that you try and limit vacation but sometimes you cannot do that. Please understand that both cheer and football need 10 hours of conditioning before they can be fully involved in the program. This means before a child can get in the mix of contact or cheer stunts, they must complete the 10 hours with their team.
Do I need to buy a football uniform? Are there other items I need to purchase?
For football players, uniforms, helmets and pads are provided by NCR. Additional costs for football gear/clothing may be incurred. Additional items include: -cleats -game socks -athletic supporters and protective cup
