High Flyin' Birds Claim Crowned City Champs

The Orioles used flawless defense, a balanced hitting attack and shutout pitching by Dominic Lupe and Kyle Braucher to claim the 2009 North Canton Little League Championship.  Braucher was also the batting star, driving in a run with an infield out and then singling in the two 5th inning runs that sealed the game.  Oriole secondbaseman Jacob Fleenor turned in the defensive play of the night when he extended to catch a bloop behind second and then crawled to the base to complete a double play.
