The goal of NCLL is to provide an economical means for families to allow their children to participate in the excitement of Little League baseball and softball. Established in 1966, the league is managed and operated by volunteers. The complex is located at 732 Frenchtown Road in historic New Castle on land owned by the New Castle Trustees. NCLL is a part of Delaware District 2 and is a charter member of Little League International.

NCLL Picture Day is scheduled for  Wednesday, April 17th from 5:20pm until 7:10pm at the New Castle Little League Complex.  Each team has a scheduled 10 minute slot. See the attached schedule and PLEASE BE PROMPT! Players are asked to report at least 20 minutes prior to picture time.   Players can get individual pictures taken before team pictures.  

In the event of inclement weather,  pictures will be held at St. Peter's gym.  Please do not wear cleats accordingly.

There will be another bat check during picture night April 17th for those who have not gotten a bat checked. Do not risk disqualification, be sure that every bat gets certified as Little League approved. OPENING DAY - APR 6TH (RAIN DATE APR 13TH) TEAMS SHOULD BE TO FIELD NO LATER THAN 8:30. CEREMONY WILL START AT 9:00

The NCLL board of directors has painfully decided to raise registration fees starting in 2013 to help offset the continueing rise in cost to operate our league. This is the first time registration has increased in over 5 years. However, famalies will be given the opportunity to register early at last years cost. Registration fees are as follows:

EARLY REGISTRATION FEE - $125 (1 CHILD) $160 (2 CHILDREN) $185 (3 OR MORE)

2013 REGISTRATION FEE - $150 (1 CHILD) $185 (2 CHILDREN) $210 (3 OR MORE)

On September 9, 2007 Jerry Johnson II was in a tragic car accident that left his family and friends devastated. Jerry's undying passion for baseball and kids makes the benefit a worthwhile cause. Jerry's family believes that he would want his memory to live on through others with the same passion.

The annual benefit has helped raise over $30,000. With the help of many generous sponsors all proceeds go to our New Castle Little League. To date, donations received have been used to, sponsor teams, pay registration for under privaleged kids, purchase ball field machine, purchase bleachers, purchase netting, purchase sod for fields and purchase new backstop fencing for JR/SR. The JR/SR field has been named in his honor.

Jerry's mother, Renee (Johnson) Kenney and his family hope to continue to sponsor our league. NCLL will continue to work on projects to improve our facilities and it is Mrs. Kenney's hope to contribute to our endeavor's. The donation's from this benefit make a huge difference in the lives of all of the kids in the NCLL community.
