In 1969, National City Girls Softball Leagues was started at Kimball Park. In 1971, the League moved to Las Palmas Park and became an organized non-profit corporation. We have now grown to approximately 300 girls and women on 25 teams from ages of six to adult. We invite girls and women from all areas of San Diego County to participate.
Not only do we teach the fundamentals of softball, but strive to instill values of sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, tolerance and pride. With the help of our dedicated volunteers and community supporters, we are able to not only develop athletic skills but also cultivate healthy friendships and competitiveness in a supportive and productive environment.
With continuing rising costs, we need all of the help we can get in order to provide uniforms, umpires, equipment and all the many other things needed to operate a successful league. You can help us do this through Sponsorships or donations or by becoming a Patron.

Businesses, groups and individuals can support NCGSL through two levels of sponsorships:

Patrons:
NCGSL registration fees are $70 for each player. There are many girls who desperately want to play but are unable to do so due to limited financial resources. You can help by donating $70 to allow one girl an opportunity to participate or by donating any amount to our Patronage Fund so that we can help as many girls as possible.
You can download a copy of our sponsorship form by clicking on “Handouts” above. We thank you in advance for your generous support and look forward to seeing you this summer.
