Situation: Batter squares to bunt. In doing so, his right foot is touching the
ground entirely out of the batter's box. He attempts to bunt the ball, but the
ball goes foul. You Make The Call!

How to Be a Umpire

Upset that umpire Andy Russell called Clemens safe at second base in the fifth
inning, Asheville's Manager Mikulik rushed onto the field. He made a headfirst
dive into second base and later pulled up the bag -- taking a few tugs to get it
done -- before throwing it into right field. Mikulik's tantrum was a sad display
of how not be to be a manager/coach. Watch the video and pay special attention
to see how the umpires handled themselves.

Situation: Junior level with bases loaded and one out. Batter swings at ball for
strike three, but catcher drops the ball. Batter takes off for first base. Catcher
grabs ball, steps on home plate, and then throws to first base before the batter/
runner makes it to first. Runners on 1st base and 2nd base stay on their bases.
Runner from 3rd runs home; no play is made on him. You Make The Call!

Situation: Bases loaded. Grounder hit towards Shortstop. Before ball
reaches Shortstop, runner from 2nd to 3rd brushes Shortstop. After runner
passes Shortstop, Shortstop fields the ball and throws to 1st, but does
not make the out. All runners safely advance one base. You Make The Call!
