Nauset Football

Dear Friends of Nauset Warriors Football,

It is with deep regret that I must inform everyone that I will no longer be coaching at Nauset High School. It was decided today in a meeting with principal Tom Conrad, that I will not be rehired as head coach. Mr. Conrad has determined that the team needs new direction. This was obviously not what I wanted to have happen, but it's understandable after an 0-10 season. It has been an honor to have been associated with hard working parents, players and coaches such as youselves. Together, we've been able to build a program from the beginning. It's been a great eleven years.
I'll keep this web-site running for a few more months. If the new coach wants to take it over, I'll provide it for them. So, enjoy what's on it. I'll add anything else I can find to close-it-out, so to say.
I'll miss you all very much. Please keep in touch.

The Nauset Warriors Football Program began in 1995 when an interested group of parents petitioned the Nauset Regional School District and were granted permission to start a football program. This group of parents formed the committee Football At Nauset or FAN. One of the conditions the Nauset School Committee required was that the team be self funded for five years after which time the school committee would review the program and consider funding it. We officially became a district funded program in 2000. Since that beginning our team has experienced rapid growth. A new stadium was built before the 2002 season. In the fall of 2003 we started up a self-funded football team at the Nauset Regional Middle School. In 2004 we added lights to our facility for night games. And this season we will be opening our new snack bar in the south endzone.

This web-site was designed to help educate and inform supporters of Nauset Football. It is not a commercial site and makes no money off of the advertisements found on the site. Nor does it necessarily endorse the advertisements.
