 In the case of a 3-way tie, total point differencial is used to break the tie.  If there are two team with the same total point differencial then head to head point differencial is used to break the tie between those teams.

In the case of a 2-way tie, head to head point differencial is first used to break the tie.  If the point differencial is the same, the total point differencial is then used.

If there is still a tie after calculating the point differencials the ladder order entering the night is used to break the tie.  The team with the highest ladder position entering the night wins.

Winter 2011 - League Captain Meeting - Jan 5th, 2011

Meeting will be held on Wednesday Jan 5th, 2011 at 7:40PM

Each Team that is registered is REQUIRED to have a representative of their team present for the meeting.

Winter 2011 League Start

Winter 2011 session start date is Jan 5th, 2011

 December 15th, 22nd and 29th will be open play nights.

Finals will be held September 8th.

The following rule changes go into effect immediately.

11.2.2.2: To touch the opponent’s court with any part of the body above the feet is permitted provided that it does not interfere with the opponent’s play.

11.3.1 Contact with the net by a player is not a fault, unless it interferes with the play.

11.4.4 A player interferes with the opponent’s play by (amongst others):

- touching the top band of the net or the top 80 cm (2’ 7.49”) of the antenna during his/her action of playing the ball, or

- taking support from the net simultaneously with playing the ball, or

- creating an advantage over the opponent, or

- making actions which hinder an opponent’s legitimate attempt to play the ball.

Teams with at least 4 YMCA MEMBERS on the team may sign-up beginning Wednesday Sept 2, 2009. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Teams with less than 4 YMCA members may sign-up beginning Sept 9, 2009.
